Inside the Atelier

Forty drafts of one silhouette.

We subtract before we add. If a detail does not earn its place on the garment, it is removed.

The Fabric

Korean Nida at 220 gsm and Japanese crepe at 190. Both are qualified before they are cut — opacity tested under direct light, colourfastness tested at forty wash cycles, drape tested on a live fitting rather than a board.

The Pattern

Drawn in-house and corrected forty times before the first production cut. One silhouette is perfected before the next is drawn. Every size is graded from a single block so the fall stays consistent across the range.

The Finish

French seams throughout. A seam a customer will never see is still a seam we are accountable for — the interior of an ELANÉ piece is judged as strictly as the exterior.

The Climate

Tested at forty-two degrees, because that is where these garments live. A cloth that performs in a European showroom and fails in a Dubai August has not been qualified.

Ornament is never a substitute for cut. Where heritage brands lean on embellishment and fast fashion leans on price, we compete on cloth, line and restraint — the three things that are hardest to fake and slowest to date.

We design for the tenth wear, not the first photograph. A piece bought in 2026 must still read as current in 2032.
